Faith Lutheran Church

Every Sunday We Worship God in Two Services:

Psalm 150 - “Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy house of worship, praise him under the open skies; Praise him for his acts of power, praise him for his magnificent greatness; Praise with a blast on the trumpet, praise by strumming soft strings; Praise him with castanets and dance, praise him with banjo and flute; Praise him with cymbals and a big bass drum, praise him with fiddles and mandolin. Let every living, breathing creature praise
God! Hallelujah! ”
(The Message)

Every Sunday is an expression of Easter Sunday as we celebrate God's gift of love, freedom, and forgiveness offered to us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We offer our praise and thanksgiving to God through song and prayer. We know that God is the midst of those He has gathered as we hear the Biblical Word and share Holy Communion.

Contemporary Worship

Traditional Worship

Our Sunday Morning Worship Services

Both services proclaim the love and unfailing grace of God, born in flesh as Christ who died so we may live each moment, guided by the Holy Spirit, according to His will for us.

9am - Contemporary Service

We love to hear everyone's voice, so while our contemporary worship music has rhythm and energy, it doesn't blast you out of your seat (think instead of smooth rock).  This service is a bit less formal, although we follow the basic form of Lutheran  worship ~ gathering, proclaiming, sharing the meal (eucharist/communion) and sending.   Music and songs are led by Faith Unlimited, our contemporary worship band.

11am - Traditional Service

A little more formal - with energy and fresh approaches, this service connects us to our Lutheran history by combining four things: 1) our most basic form of worship ~ gathering, proclaiming (Bible readings & Pastor's sermon) , sharing the meal (eucharist/communion) and sending; 2) elements of traditional liturgy, including responsive singing; 3) new expressions of beautiful music and 4) leaders dressing in vestments.  Music and hymns are led by our organist, Voices of Faith Choir, and the Bells of Faith handbell choir.

What to Expect When You Worship with Us

When you worship with us, you will be greeted at the door with a smile and extended hand!  We want your experience on Sunday morning to be joyful and meaningful. We believe that for this to happen, it should be free from the frustration that often comes with a new adventure. The ushers will hand you a worship booklet and point the way should you need directions. Our booklet has everything you need - no scrambling for the right hymnal, no need to flip through endless pages to find where we are in the service. All the hymns, readings, and prayers are included.
